Birth and Postpartum Doula
Offering Doula care that is Wholistic in nature, I utilize my knowledge both as a Doula and Registered Nurse to offer care unique to my clients' preferences. I offer many different modalities and therapies including Thai massage, homeopathic remedies, acupressure and pre-natal yoga. The diversity in knowledge and experience provides unique and tailored ways to welcome breath, movement, and ease to each birth.
My Approach
Every family is unique in their needs and resources. At the end of this season, it is the family left to support each other. Therefore, my biggest priority is to ensure the family is set up for success, whatever that looks like for each individual.
For some families, I am present for prenatal sessions and spend a large amount of time building relationship and offering support prior to birth. Others welcome me once labor has begun and I remain until the calm is established post birth. Others still, welcome me into their home to care for their newborn once they have come earthside. Some families know exactly what they are in need of, while others begin with simple discussions to discover a plan together.
