Amber dreamt of, created, and operates two successful businesses: 

Birth and Postpartum Care

Central Alberta Palliative Care

She possesses a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Certificate in Holistic Nursing and many other certificates as she is always pursuing further education and training. 

She has taught in the BScN Program at Red Deer Polytechnic Nursing Program and she currently is one of the core instructors for the Holistic Doula Certificate with Pacific Rim College

She has mentored many Doulas in operating their own businesses, as well as, welcomed them to shadow her for births to witness the art of caring for others.

​

Working in both birth and death would not be sustainable without having an incredible community of support. This is why she offers mentorship to nurses, birth, postpartum and death doulas, and others who are pursing entrepreneurship
